Prior to working as a DOP I had a decade of experience working as a gaffer (In My Skin, The Last Tree).
My most recent work is UP TO NO GOOD a show for SONY and PLAYGROUND. Starring Glenn Close, Penelope Wilton, Claudia Jesse and Richard E. Grant. After decades caring for her sister, killer Maud Oldcastle-brusque, ruthless, and haunted by her past pursues a fresh start. But a detective's suspicions and society's ageism threaten the freedom she'll do anything to keep. It’s a show that is full of drama, suspense and action but at its core it is an intimate and introspective piece that places the viewer right inside the mind of a woman with a questionable moral compass, dealing with her own mortality in a modern, increasingly individualistic world.
I see my work as both intimate and expressionistic and will always let the emotion and character guide my choices. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do and I really value that. I look favourable towards projects that are open to exploring an intimate point of view, I think when you can find that in even the largest most action packed shows, it brings a level of humanity to the piece that serves the story further.
